Chrome on Windows 7. Seems to be okay on my other computer running on Windows 10 but it might also be linked to screen resolution. My screen is larger on my work computer (the one running Windows 7) than my home computer.

Did a little more digging. Looks like your overflow div (for scrolling) needs an id so you can use something like document.getElementById("id_of_div").focus();

  • I think it would be nice to have the option to gift some of my own VG$ to other users (maybe the price in a bet or something).
  • That said, maybe even a general betting feature could be implemented. Something like the poll-feature on threads, the thread-starter set multiple options and you can choose one, but also drop VG$ on this bet. The VG$ is collected in a pool and at some time the thread-owner decides of the outcome of the bet and the pool is automatically paid out.
  • For official threads it is nice now that moderators can set a new thread-owner. Maybe it would be helpful, if the poster can himself appoint additional editors (so multiple people can edit a post if the original author appoints them).
  • Currently if in an ongoing thread the OP is edited, the author must make a new reply to announce these changes. Maybe the thread can be shown in a new color for OP edited in the forum buddy.
  • The sliders for the game scoring are hard to read in the Blue theme (dark blue on dark grey).
  • Maybe the game score could not use the average but the median for the score, to devalue troll scores.
  • Maybe if you VG$-rich you can buy (or gift) supporter levels for a month for a shitload of VG$.

OK, that is all that randomly came to mind reading about all these improvements. You do great work here on the site, Talon!

This has been done ("Agreed with" nets the author 2 points, a "Subscribed to" nets the author 3 points). A few fixes and enhancements were done, while I was under the hood with this:

 - The thread author will receive notification of somebody subscribing to their thread
 - I fixed the potential bug, where somebody could repeatedly click "agree with" to spam a user with notifications - a notification (and subsequently, point assignment) will only happen the first time a user agrees with the post. They can click that thumb as many times as they want afterwards, but it will NOT spam the author, nor will it generate repeated points for the same click.
 - Similarly, since points are being awarded for thread subscribes, the OP will no longer see a "Subscribe to Thread" link in their own thread (prohibiting users from farming points by subscribing to their own thread) - and repeatedly subscribing and unsubscribing will NOT spam the author, nor will it generate repeated points.

  • Betting in the prediction league could also be an activity which gives you points.

This is done - each time you enter a game in the Prediction League, you earn 10 points (happy @kirby007 ?)

...this has been added. Everybody will get a bunch of notifications (and the associated VG$) to start off, as this is new and everybody ought to get credit for levels earned to date.

One little point: "You User Level has increased to Ghost". Probably should be 'Your'. And yeah, Prediction League betting money. Sadly never again I will earn 800 VG$ that easy.

I should've looked at my VG$-transactions. I got more than 800 myself:

  User level increased to Wraith   $500.00  
  User level increased to Hunter   $500.00  
  User level increased to Splicer   $500.00  
  User level increased to Zergling   $250.00  
  User level increased to Grunt   $150.00  
  User level increased to Goomba   $150.00  
  User level increased to Peon   $100.00  
  User level increased to Ghost   $100.00  

So the amount increases every level.
