Yikes. WWZ isn't getting particularly good reviews. I watched Jimothy Sterling's Jimpression, and he made a point to say it was quite glitchy/buggy. TBH, I think it looks ok, and I'm really into co-op....but I think it's a safe bet to say that Days Gone is going to be the better game.

So we get a mediocre game AND a mediocre movie out of the WWZ license? Damn, Max Brooks can't catch a break.

Seriously:

Ha. I've seen that HMT, good stuff. Have you ever watched the South Park episode, World War Zimmerman? If not you might enjoy it. You're from the US, and can easily use South Park studios. Lucky guy. I get redirected to the terrible Canadian Comedy Network site.

The World War Zimmerman episode on South Park was pretty good, so I guess we did get ONE good thing out of it, LOL. The movie is mediocre at best, filled with plot holes at every turn. Zombies that can somehow detect unhealthy hosts from afar while running full fucking speed at them (why the fuck would they need healthy hosts, anyway? They're already infected!), or the scene in Israel with hordes of people standing around and trucks coming in from all directions, yet the girl singing is what attracts them. Oh, and Brad Pitt surviving a plane crash just by buckling himself in because, reasons, and zombies that go ham-over-fist to feast on people, even piling on top of each other to jump a wall can somehow run around the one girl without running into her. And Pitt and his family conveniently finding an RV with keys in the ignition and a loaded shotgun that nobody thought to take in the middle of a zombie apocalypse (!) for some reason. And countless other plot/logic holes. Pitt having to be constantly saved by these plot conveniences (or outright miracles, in most cases) took me out of it.

It certainly didn't help that you can't even tell what's happening during action scenes because they had to constantly frame out violence/gore with these annoying shaky cams to get a PG-13 rating, for a ZOMBIE movie! Seriously, that's like making a Jet Li movie where he doesn't beat people up. If you want good zombie movies, watch 28 Days Later, Night of the Living Dead or either Dawn of the Dead movie.

Oh, and I just pre-ordered Days Gone.
