Long ago, some time between the extinction of the dinosaurs and the invention of the wheel, futuristic racer Redout was announced for Nintendo Switch.

In the years since, it seemed to become vaporware, though every few months the developers would insist it was still coming at some undefined point in the future.

Now, at long last, it has a release date: the 14th of next month.
