There was a lot more hype around Horizon so i don't think Days Gone will come close. I am not expecting Days Gone to be another masterpiece but I have to say that it does look better and better every time they show new footage. So who knows, maybe it will be a sleeper hit after all.

It will sell great; but not that great though. It will be a great game with great reviews, but all those PC/SJW sites with all the the "hate" against white heterosexual males; they will review it badly; affecting the perception of the game and maybe affecting the sales too.

Its actually been in the top 10 or so on Gamestop and pretty high on amazon as well for at least the past week or so (at least in the times I’ve checked). Currently it sits at #6 on Gamestop and #23 on Amazon—one week from release.

As JRPGfan said, I think it’s going to perform better than most are expecting, but I feel pretty confident it won’t do HZD numbers. 1-1.5mil in 2wk will be really good for this game I think.

I concur, it will sell a lot better than what most people expect.

in UK, number 1 with the biggest opening 2019. But Horizon Zero Dawn is stronger, i think.

After seeing Days Gone doing 114k physical in Japan 1st week and what is doing in Europe. It seems like i am going to be correct (again) in what i said about Days Gone selling similarly to Horizon. Seems like 2'5-3'0M after 2 weeks is a lock now, and still can be a candidate to be a 10M seller in the long run.
