Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Night King was all like "NANI?" lol. Man... this is so dumb.

At least my dragon bois are alive in the next episode featurette.

The worst arc is done, we can move on to the important storyline.

did not expect the nightking to get killed off so early

Far superior to that avenger thing, let's go team living!!!!!

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Never cared about the political side of Game of Thrones. I LOVED what they were doing with the Night King and the White Walkers. It had a Mass Effect type feel to it with the walkers being the Reapers of course. And now it's just over...just like that. No final fight with Jon v Night King. Just Arya coming outta nowhere and the entire White Walker threat is just done and now we're going back to boring nonsensical politics with Cersei and Dany...Yeah fuck this lol

Typical GoT big action set piece. Except this time it was in the dark (and obscured by clouds) and even less coherent!

GoT had two excellent large action scenes. Blackwater, which actually did have a completely followable narrative structure (probably because Martin himself wrote it) and was kind enough to light the actors. And Hardhome, which was particularly effective because it hit out of nowhere, it existed to show how unstoppable the dead were, and had an awesome finish to it with the raising of the dead.

The rest of them were confused messes.

Wait you think Blackwater the worst large battle in the tv series is better than the battle on the wall, battle of the bastards, the spoils of war and the battle of winterfell. I guess everyone's entitled to an opinion but damn yours is not a popular one. Not sure how you could have trouble following any of these battles.

I'm not sure what people are talking about with the episode being to dark. I didn't have any issue whatsoever following what was going on. This battle is personally my second favourite I think, i don't think anything will beat the masterpiece that was the battle of the bastards.

The ep started strong and progressively went downhill until that Arya scene. I hated the music, i didn't like at all..., it sounded more like an episode of Grey's Anathomy than Game of Thrones...so cheesy. Arya killing Night King is fine, it makes sense for her character and arc, but i didn't like the excution at all. It was poorly directed all that scene. And now, after 8 seasons, we solve this huge problem for humanity like this....smh. I see Cersei saying..."i told ya, you showed your cards to soon people". The definition of anticlimatic. Vegeta jober tier enemy....XD.

And by the way, if the end of the tv series, if the "final boss" is Cersei....., oh lord...., how low has the series gone after GRRM stoped doing the books.

Seasons 1-4 were historically good TV material. Seasons 5-8 have been the worst kind of popcorn film quality material possible. We all are going to see how it ends, because even the ones who doesn't like the series anymore like me, are curious, but i'am being honest if i say i don't really care anymore what happens. For me the real story and ending will be what GRRM writes, not this. This is just mediocre fan fiction script with a lot of money for production behind. Nothing more. Enjoyable but not impressive.

He has two books planned. The Winds of Winter is currently still in the works and he has not started yet on A Dream of Spring.

He stated before though that he was many pages inyo A Dream Of Spring.

George R.R. Martin will never ever finish his story.

Originally, as per his leaked outline, this was planned as a trilogy dealing with 1) the war of the five kings, and a five year time gap 2) the dothraki invasion of Westeros and 3) the threat of the others. A full generation after the first book released, we're 33% through his intended history. 50%, if you are willing to consider AFFC and ADWD, the two books that have filled the space of the time gap, as an arc on their own.

Meanwhile we've had:

- All Harry Potter books released

- Two Star Wars trilogies

- The LOTR and the Hobbit movie trilogies

- The whole Malazan Book of the Fallen series released, for comparison's sake

So... yeah. Not happening.

This is very frustrating and somewhat disrespectful with his audience, if you want to know what I think. People bought these books on the premise there would be a conclusion to it. How many would buy it otherwise? I wouldn't go as far as calling it fraud, but people were absolutely not making a high-risk investment on an author who clearly don't know how to disentangle the convoluted mess he created himself.

No, we'll have to make do with D&D's dumb interpretation and ending I'm afraid.
