Sorry, I don't watch garbage feminist mary sue propaganda. Screw Disney for throwing out the integrity of the franchise.

Movie looks like crap already.

Im sorry i dont care about toxic masculinity and man who cant handle strong females. Get your self a confidence and open your mind. There is a life outside your Man Cave.  Anyway, i like the trailer, more a teaser.  Cant wait.

I'm all for strong characters. Male, female, whatever. But to say Rey is a strong character is ridiculous... Strong with the force maybe.

She's a typical Mary Sue. Considering they're bringing back Luke and Palpatine, instead of sticking with Rian Johnson's vision, just shows they know they fucked up. That and they have no vision of their own. This will probably be fan service to the millionth degree. I'm skipping.

There were 99 other problems with the film imo, and I don't think anyone can confidently pinpoint any one particular reason for a course correction in IX.

I don't like how Rey got so strong before training, but that was honestly one of the smallest issues I had with the film.
And I'd wager the issue people feel more strongly about is how they handled Luke, given that his character has such a long legacy.
But in TLJ, Luke who would even see the good in Darth Vader,

Spoiler!
considered to butcher his nephew in his sleep as his FIRST choice.

Emphasis on 'first'.
That's just not his character. I didn't buy it.
And then there was the map to Skywalker. But

Spoiler!

he didn't want to help out even when he heard that his best friend had been killed.

There were so many issues I had with that film, I'd have to write an essay to go through half of them.

And even if they revive

Spoiler!
Luke

that doesn't necessarily mean J.J. Abrams disagrees with Rian Johnson's vission of Luke (although I would hope it does). It could also be because of something like Leia's actor dying, and they originally planned to have her play an important role at the end. But now they need a different character to fill that spot.

That's it right there. The biggest issue!!! But riddled with a plethora of other issues, just like you said!!!

Also, bringing back Palpatine is not exciting for me. Unless it is a flashback or somehow a dark force ghost. Bringing him back just to get slaughtered by Rey would undo everything the original trilogy (well, even the prequels) established.

It's a bit crazy how much I don't care.

With a lemon twist of contempt.

Looks like they are gonna try to right the wrongs they did to Luke. But I´m afraid is too late for me now. I will watch it whenever is available online.

Superman Leia.

Hated it at the first 20 seconds with the Rey flip. I just want the trilogy to be put out of its misery. Only thing that has me interested is to see how they're going to randomly shoe horn in Palpatine out of nowhere. Movie production and CGI wise looks pretty beautiful, but the story being told the last two movies has been a completely jumbled mess of a story that I don't know how they're going to salvage it and wrap it all up with this movie.

I'm sure the ladies are all over you at parties.

You do not need to speak for all of the ladies, i know enough that agree wanting a strong woman instead of a mary sue.

Nice. JJ Abrams seems to be following his own themes instead of Johnson's. I see plains of salt are already accumulating after a single teaser. That's nice too.

Parties and ladies are overrated.

Keep that dick in shrink wrap or enjoy the sausage parties I guess.

isn't this the type of toxic mindset that gets women hurt or killed?
