simply put its because the fear factor of the brand people poured hundreds and thousands of euros and hours into is put at risk when a strong competitor appears, that fear is greater again on steam where you have the potential to lose everything if the platform dies, unlike say the vita or wiiu where i can still play every vita game ive bought regardless of sony '"old yella"ing it, if the same happened to a platform like steam the cost to some gamers would be devastating.

I swear though.... its a shame that fortnite gets so much hate from some over zealous steam fans just because that game gives epic so much power and weight to throw around, the game suffers unjust hate from people who've never played it but just see it as the epic game stores sugar daddy

FAILED - I have asked you 3 times now to point out your previous assumption on my post and 3 times you have failed to deliver an answer. This goes to show you have no idea what you are on about and 3 times is more than enough and my Patience's has worn thin. Instead of admitting you were premature on it, you still believe you are correct.. ironic.

SUMMARY - The problem here is you seem to defend Steam no matter what which is what a Blind supporter is and you seem happen to wait for these upcoming games, and it clearly shows you are okay with another launcher moneyhatting the industry. Well that's your answer out of all this. Just because you are happen with what EGS is doing doesn't reflect the industry. I am far from the only Steam supporter who is disappointed with these things. Bottom line is Steam misses out on another AAA anticipated game of the year and to me, that's not good for Steam users. And no some of us don't want to wait months to years to play games.
