These things sound pretty reasonable if it can decrease mass shootings. The third one could be abused though.

Over 90% of Americans support Universal Background Checks. Why then do our Republican politicians consistently vote against Universal Background Checks? Why then did our President vow to veto a Universal Background Check bill if it was passed by the Senate?

N R A $.

Raise the age for any firearm to 25? Seems like kids are behind most of these attacks. Maybe by 25 they won't be so crazy?

Lol no. If someone can go to war for their country they deserve the same amount of rights as other people.

Just odd to me buying beer requires 21 years old, a gun 18.  Either way, makes no sense to me.  I don't get the gun obsession this country has.  25 years to buy, with military exception?  It can't be that hard to craft an easy attempt at a fix.  As a country we haven't even made an attempt, and that is shameful.

Well the age to buy beer should be 18. It's pretty dumb that it's 21. There are other ways to fix the issue of mass shootings without restricting ownership to young adults. Background checks, more emphasis on mental health, cracking down on illegal weapons etc.

Because anywhere else in the world would find 2 consecutive mass shootings to be unthinkable.

And yet here, while considered horrible, people go on thinking that nothing can be done about it.

So what can be done about it?

Universal mental health care, gun control, more aggressive law enforcement in regards to white supremacy. Like this isn't some uncontrollable force of nature it is very much so a uniquely American issue that is a result of our culture and or policy

The best way to stop shootings is to increase the quality of life here in the United States. It would be very easy if the Federal government-backed off and we stop electing Democrats. Most of these shootings are happening in Democrat counties due to restrictive gun control and their low standard of living.

For which part exactly? If it is about the counties or cities, just take a look at Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, and Oakland.

All of it:

-Best way to stop shootings is to increase quality of life
-Quality of life would increase with less federal government intervention
-Shootings occur due to restrictive gun control
-Shootings occur due to low standard of living
-Most mass shootings occur in democratic communities

Also, we know by now Democrats are for restrictive gun control and tried to ban it in Chicago lol.
