Carbs are essential and help fuel the brain.

Nope! When you eat Carbohydrates your body turns it into glucose which is stored as glycogen in your liver or muscle tissue for fuel later.
If you don't have any of that in your body, then your body will swap it's fuel source from glycogen to ketone bodies... Which arguably is a better source of energy for the brain.

You a keto dieter Pemalite?

I prefer the Kero diet. Kool-Aid hooked straight to my veins.

I've seen it work for a lot of people, it's clearly legit. I've considered it myself, but the amount of adjustments it would require is a little intimidating, and I don't think my family would be very supportive.

Depends on what your goals are.
Any diet you can loose weight, it all comes down to calories in/calories out... And sticking to it for the long term, not just a few weeks/months... But years is probably the most important take away of it all.

Keto has sort of become a "fad" diet for allot of people... I have been doing it for years so it's not a new concept to me... You can't drink Alcohol, you can't have cheat days... And even some sugar-free foods contain sweetners like Maltitol which is actually a carb.

Low Carb diets tend to be most effective for people because Carbs make you hungrier and more often... So you generally eat allot more overall during the day.
Protein and Fat dense foods keep you fuller for longer.

In saying that, I clearly don't need to loose weight... But a low carb diet works for me because it allows me to focus on specific macro-nutrients and proteins to build mass at the Gym and keep my body fat percentage down, hence why I stick with it.

Anyway... I feel this has drifted off topic, if you want to discuss this, feel free to message me or make a new thread. :)
