Europe seems unreasonable to me. No growth for switch at all? And PS4 also feels too high

Kids are invested in ipad and mobile games from a young age instead of consoles early on, at least those in my family.

A shame, playing games with friends on consoles is a lot better for social development.

Always nice to have new numbers. Switch holding that top spot! PS4 not far behind at all....man that thing just keeps on pushing, XB1 is just....well there and holding well in US. 3DS had a good run and that poor poor Vita

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

I'm glad to see PS4 going that well.

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

Congrats to Switch again. Feb NPD should be locked at #1 for them.

Has to sell somewhere, which is only out of patriotism.

I got the Xbox because it’s a great console :)

Its about the price. I dont  know why sony is keeping the price so high compared to xbox i NA. XBOX S is 199 where the PS4 is 299. Thats a whopping 100 $ difference.

I always forget that PS4 is still at 299. Perhaps they are just waiting that the sell go down. I don't know...

Nintendo's getting dug into that top spot in NA, which was a hotly contested position last year IIRC. Smash + PS4/Xbone starting to slow down has tipped the balance.

I almost always forget about the price difference. The original XBO and the XBO-S have seemed to be in near perpetual states of "on sale" in some form or another for several years, which I have certainly taken note of. But yeah, that there's such a disparity in the base price is something I never think of. It's around a $90 difference where I live in Canada.

What does that have to do with PS4 still selling gangbusters and switch barely being up year over year?

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

Because that trend can translate in less people adapting to consolegaming from an early age,an age that those people normally get a nintendo console and when being older they just immidiately jump to the more mature console being the PS4 so that could explain PS4's gangbuster sales in comparison.

Just speculation ofcourse. :p

Edit: Although the switch sales look fine to me,also worth noting they come from the lesser userbase that was the WII U.
