Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Get your speculating caps out, Nintendo is apparently reviving a 'very dead and buried game'.

Could it be? Does the vitality censor live!?!? And it will be an exclusive accessory to Wii U, bringing back it's popularity and sales?

Haha, I never considered that.

But not on Wii U.

I’d actually dig that as part of some sort of Switch Fit release. Although I want Nintendo to have some integration of weight training.

But I’ll stick with Earthbound 64, since that was Nintendo’s biggest cancellation of all time. Given they had promoted the crap out of the game.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

If it's Golden Sun, please, for the love of God, end the series already. Don't revive it just to end on a cliffhanger again and make us wait 10 years because you had no idea where to go with your new game.

Finally someone with a refined taste in this thread!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

:D

I guess it's not a 1st party game anyway.

A tease would be to remind you that Nintendo is looking into it, according to the series producer! ;)

😥 I want a new Wave Race so badly, I bought Aqua Racing Utopia for $40 on the Switch on day one despite it being $9.99 on every other console including Wii U--and it was SO BAD! I need this series back in my life.

Now that you mention, i do remember seeing a game like that for Wii U.
It's not Wave Race. That game was special!

Crossing fingers for a new game or at least a port of the N64 and GC games, for Switch.

Golden Sun.

About time Nintendo

I want a reboot though. Dark dawn had no soul.

A reboot would be ideal, but Im taking anything at this point.

I have thought a lot about this (a whole 45 seconds)
And I have come to the only right conclusion.

It must be Final Fantasy Versus XIII

This game and Megaman Legends 3 are the ones that makes the most sense.

WE ALL NEED IT!

TimeSplitters 4

According to a rumour GameXplain uploaded a video about it's apparently Scalebound.

Scalebound was originally a Wii game so I suppose it not completely impossible if Platinum went back to the original concept of Scalebound they had visioned, and restarted development under a different name. In another partnership with Nintendo of course.

Still I feel like it's unlikely.

Scalebound, (or maybe "BaleScound" now?) would absolutely fit this rumor. I don't see them using the same name though.

No chance in hell it's Scalebound. That's what many of you are expecting, to begin with.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
