If they are talking about a cancelled game:
Earthbound 64 - while there’s Mother 3 which reuses some of the elements of this game, that game has not been released outside of Japan: Earthbound 64 couldn’t be completed due to the technology of the N64 - not enough write space on the cartridge, not enough ROM space on the N64DD disk or cartridge.
If it is an old franchise resurrection: Wave Race and Ice Climbers were good suggestions, I’d also throw in Marble Madness and RC Pro-Am... although they may have to deal with microsoft for that, as they were RARE developed games.
