Scalebound and Fable 4 died for this :(

Neither is true but ok

Funny that the 90 score is clickbait for a change. 90 and he doesn't even care about the multi player praising the campaign for being better than crackdown 2. So even the most positive review thinks the online destruction is just meh :/ What a waste. That quote calling it a breath of fresh gunsmoke for not being like the popular battle royale games, lol.

If you have gamepass it would likely provide a few afternoons of fun, no doubt. My kids are too busy doing challenges in Fortnite to win a battle pass and playing Apex Legends to care.

Unfortunate, but expected. Looked bad, early previews said it was underwhelming, and Microsoft can't catch a break.

The last gasp for the Xbox One and it's a whimper. Does the console have ANYTHING on the horizon aside from Ori and the Will of the Wisps (which even I can likely run on my PC)?

I got it all, baby!

PS4, Switch, WiiU, XBO, PC
Vita, 3DS, Android

Top 3 this generation:
Bloodborne, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Dark Souls III

In all honesty, given MS' new strategy, I dont think scores matter as much for thm anymore. Most of their tittles r given for "free" in gamepass day one, so it doesnt make a lot of business sense to sink a ton of money into them. Provided the game is "good enough", what's more important is the perceived value, bcz they have yet another xclusive coming to gamepass day one. Ofcourse, they will still need a big hit every now n thn, but it is not as important IMO.

The score is in line with what I thought, 60-69 seems to be MS threshold of quality the past couple of years. :D

This can attract a lot of bad comments.

But it's true.

I just read the DF analysis. I was so close to getting a XBox One S right before the X was announced, I'm glad I didn't. Every review now the original box comes off as the black sheep. 1536x1080, frame rate drops, screen tearing, no headlight shadows, detail paired back. And if you play co-op with someone on an X, their detail will be paired back as well to stay synched. Mid gen upgrades... The X is still overpriced here anyway.(CAD 600 bare bones)

At least they liked the HDR implementation!

I believe the first showing looked bad for this game but if I take Eurogamer tech analysis to heart, it seems the visual of the campaign is actually above par.

If anything it sounds like Crackdown 3 has its own style like the first game and from the analysis its pretty much a straight sequel of the first.

I do agree. At least that is what their games have been getting. But we will also have people saying that we shouldn't let the score say the game is bad, that a lot of their friends are loving it, and that GAAS is the best leap forward in gaming.

On the 90 score, read the review and it doesn't say anything that really should put the game on 9 except that he loves Crackdown and since this is better then it gets better review, wouldn't say it's professional or unbiased, but at least it seems sincere.

And the screens I seem look poor on the eye candy.

Not sure if I want to take the plunge on this one. Too many great games to waste valuable time on mediocre.

Don't you have Game Pass? That's what I'm going to play it on. I'm not buying it.

There’s still Gears and possibly halo infinite (if it’s cross gen). And a few smaller titles like battletoads and maybe ninja Theory next game. But this gen is almost a wrap
