I don't feel like arguing, but in Irvine's defense, it is kind of awkward when people don't recognise you and you are a bit socially awkward. Its happened to me and people I've worked with in real life. Irvine actually mentions this is why he didn't speak up, because nobody else seemed to remember, he didn't know how to bring it up. Selphie or Zell would have probably said something but the others would just leave it I think.

I don't feel like arguing, but I'm going to say you're wrong, lol :P

But, it's a valid point. I just don't think it was executed especially well.

Yeah I added a bit to the end saying I agree that FF games get a little silly at times but they can get away with it in my opinion.

I was just teasing ya. If everyone followed the same "rules" for stories, every story would be the same.

Great game, sad more can't experience it with a remake or remaster.

I should point out that I still loved the game when it came out and was just pointing out some strange plot's, You have the overarching idea of connection being played out in the game, but the making them orphans comes across like an idea that came about because they were stuck in how to work everybody into it, so you ended up with a decision that rather than being a natural fit stuck out enough that it had to be explained away, while you would be right in saying it's not a big thing,it just added another layer on what for me turned out to be a game that toward the end became a tangled mess story wise, all the rest I thoroughly enjoyed apart from drawing making things a little easy.

My gf's favorite game of all time.

Best ff to date!

Wish there was a magic meter or something, repeated GFs got tiresome.

The draw skill was a mistake and the plot became out right silly, an example being they grew up together as orphans and the only one who remembers doesn't say anything.

Dood.... that's FInal Fantasy in a nut shell. If you can name a single FF game that didn't end up with a stupidly silly and/or convoluted plot by the end then it probably shouldn't be considered an actual FF game

Yes I know it's my fault , i get excited and then there's me the end of the game banging my head against the wall screaming Why Why did I fall for it again. at least FFXV meant i never got that far.

The only Final Fantasy that managed to hold my attention long enough and actually completed it! So definitely my favorite title.
Shame that there isn't a remake/remaster except for the re-release we got on PC.

Final fantasy emo sequal was pretty good. I remember getting all the way to the 3rd disc when I was a youngin... For it too freeze and become unplayable. Even tried a friends disc... Nothing. If a hd port was available on the Xbox, I'd buy it again and finally finish it.

Has a series ever been more famous for corrupted saves than this?
