Will it surpass those platforms and set a new record for the number of 10 million plus sellers on a Nintendo system, do you think? It needs 6 more to do so.

EDIT: 6/5/2021: Switch now has 11 ten-plus-million sellers, surpassing both Wii and DS.

Assuming it has 2-3 more Pokemon (including the 2019 game), then yes easily. The question is can it pass 20 10-million sellers :D

Without a doubt it will reach the 10m. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 2 already reached the 10m, and Pokemon Let's Go, 8th gen Pokemon and Animal Crossing will reach it too. Only three massive sellers, and it will be done. Maybe this ones will do the trick:

-Minecraft.
-Mario Maker Switch.
-Nintendo Labo (Total sales).
-Super Mario Party.

I don't think Splatoon 2 actually has yet, which is another reason why it's easy for Switch to do so; it's so close!

If Nintendo releases the right games, the Switch should have no issues matching and passing the Wii and DS in total 10 million sellers.

I even thing it could catch or pass the DS in total 20 million sellers. the DS had 3 games that broke that mark, New Super Mario Bros. Nintendogs, and Mario Kart DS. I think MK8D and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate should reach that milestone, no problem. Super Mario Odyssey could do it to if it can maintain solid legs. Breath of the Wild could probably even do it.

Dunno about this one, I mean don't get me wrong I expect it to sell very well, like 7-9 milllion, but over 10? Then again I'm the genius who thought the Switch would sell less than the Gamecube so what do I know.

Yes, Splatoon 2 will break 10m this year, Gen 8 and AC are 2 more 10m sellers on the way taking the total to 8, NSMB will cross the 10m mark at some point as well LT and that's already 9. Looking at other games that have the potential to break 10m we have Luigi's Mansion and Super Mario Party and as far as possible future games the are still the likes of Tomodachi and I'm pretty certain the will be another Pokemon game after gen 8 will show up.
