It has to come soon, outside of Yoshi their first half of the year is bare as fuck. I want it today (a Thursday here in Japan) but they've never held it this late in a month, so no. I think either next Thursday (Feb 7) or the one after (14th).

I just really want a Fire Emblem date, Pikmin 4 and details that Pokemon is actually going to be good.

This is getting seriously ridiculous now. Are we seriously not getting any first party Nintendo stuff in the first half of the year? They don't have much time left to allow for hype building unless they're just going to shadow drop stuff. Six months without a direct is stupid, letting momentum dissipate.

We are officially in the third option of the poll. Today begins the week of February 8th through 14th.

And so the rumor begins. Weird that guy didn't specifically say a direct was coming, just was cryptic about the number 13. Other things could be happening on the 13th. Blockbuster could come back into business with $7 rentals again for all we know.

I feel like a failure and I do not know how I can go on living after Devil May Cry 5 and Sekiro launch without Nintendo releases. My life is in your hand Reggea and you are responsible for getting a direct out asap. If this does not happen before the 15th I am predicting an absolute collapse of Nintendo's internal infrastructure, and a cliff-fall of Switch sales.

I still think late March, around GDC time. I also don't think Nintendo Directs have much to do with sales. They had tons of Directs during the Wii U era and hardly anyone bought anything. They have had FAR fewer Directs with the Switch and sales have been monstrous.

I want a direct ASAP, but I don't want a Pikmin 3 port (if it's part of a trilogy, with 1+2, then I'd be all over it), as that just pushes 4 further back, and it sold well on the U already. This guy seems trustworthy, but I don't know.
