Did you play it in 1080p only? Otherwise I have a hard time believing that. |
What’s wrong with playing the collection that is literally called “The story so far”? You are making it hard on yourself

The Link is from Twinfinite review(9/10-4.5/5), not from the "troll" review :)

If you look up, you'll notice that "VideoGamer" is hyperlinked, likely from a copy-paste.

It was running on the default settings, whatever those are for PS4 Pro.
No, 1.5+2.5 and 2.8 covers everything important thus far. 2.8 includes Back Cover [X], which covers the basics of the cell phone game within about an hour of movies, and the other movie collections here help you to avoid the other two garbage games in the series (358/2 Days and Re:Coded). If you wish to avoid playing other games in the series, keep in mind you're doing the equivalent of only watching the Avengers movies and missing all the context the other MCU movies offer. That aside there are the Memory Archives, five videos available on the title screen that give you a refresher.
Are you also trying magic within different Formchanges? Because Formchanges affect how you cast magic (Double Arrowgun, for example, fires elemental arrows). There are tons of ways to mix up the combat, so I guess I'm having trouble empathizing with this notion. Hell, I used the Frozen Keyblade to most of the game and never tired of it thanks to how it transforms magic into AOE blasts.

Phone games? No, you have to play the ones that were released on Nintendo systems too.
One thing that people dont understand is that KH dosent have spin off games.Every single one of them are mainline entries, with the exception of Coded and mostly Chi(outside of knowing essencial parts of that game, such as the 6 masters, the book of profecies, and so on)
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

And the most ridiculous part is that when you read the review it seems more like a 7 than a 4.
Also his complain are obnoxious like he say the game challenge your eyes (with prettyness) but don't challenge the mind with they not having a deep story or darker themes (while a couple paragraphs before he complained he couldn't understand the story). Also he completely ignores that although the disney and pixar chars are quite cheerful the background of the story is quite dark and full of loses.
OTBWY said: I've been playing it for a bit. I like it so far but I have issues. Right now I would give it about a 7.5 for certain reasons. 1: Performance issues. I am getting framerate dips and it is noticeable. Second, this games story is not for those who only went by the regular numbers. 1 and 2. Third, the combat is getting a bit stale for me. Maybe it's me but I don't remember it feeling this outdated. Everything else is fine. Oh and this is probably just me but the camera disorients me sometimes. |
2 - Shouldn't be an issue, if you can't understand the story because you played only KH3 or only numbered entries it isn't a fault of the game. Even more when they offer you those 5 or 6 mini movies to tell key points of the story.

59 reviews, a "mixed" score has dropped the MC to 85.
I'm convinced that Metacritic should be unvetting people who review this game believing they only have to play 1 and 2. If you think that's the case, then you've clearly not done ANY research on what you're getting into.

That's what happens when people who didn't intend on giving anything but a negative review decide they're going to review it anyway. Also, because complaining about not understanding a story because you played three parts of a 10-part series doesn't disqualify your review as "misinformed".

Wow this thread is just a massive "people who dislike a game I love are idiots". Guys, you know that different opinions exist and are valid, right? I can't imagine your reaction when you discover that the Xbox One version has a 79...
