As title says, retail the game made it there over halfway sitting over 2.6mil. With digital+shipments its bound to be over 3mil right now.

That said this isnt a bold prediction since im too late.... But the game should make the 4mil mark which is already ompressive itself.

Btw SSBU already surpassed all of SSB games in japan if we take digital into account.

The quest to 4 million retail should be the one that signals if it can or not.

If it hits 4mil retail then 5mil overall is a possiblity. Smash should track like splat2 second year. If it does thats clos to/exactly 4mil retail right there. And it wont stop selling for years

I don't even know anymore. I didn't think it would outsell Splatoon 2 in Japan, and now it is on track to do that in just a few weeks. I have no clue what the ceiling is on this game.

I dont think so either but could get real close... We will see tomorrow because sales will drop drastically ... But it should do 4M easily

Last quarter it was at 4.22mil so under 780k left. It sold pretty good during its course so far in 2020. Imma guess it’ll hit another 500k by years end and finish just above 5mil lifetime
