FFVII is too big, if it is a remake of the full game then wait till 2024 for ps5 at the earliest. If it's episodic, then you have a chance that part 1 will come out in 2020 if you're lucky enough

Too big? Main FF7 can be completed in a comfortable 30 hours. Their remake has got to add so much content to fit the opening 4 to 5 hours, which is mostly cut scenes and story telling (characters moved slower in FF7 compared to other, no voice lines so you had to read everything) from Midgar, I'm actually at a loss of how they do it unless filling the game with needless busy work and extra story that doesn't matter considering we know the story.
I expect the full game in 2030, or 1997. :P
Hmm, pie.
Where you ask? It just so happens i got it right here. Hidden under my comfy trenchcoat. You wanna have a look at it? Just follow me into this dimly lit alleyway...

They still have to port Dragon Quest to the Switch, don't they? They are taking their sweet time for a game it's already done. Why is SE so bad at organizing their schedules and development times? |
I know games nowadays take much more time and money to make, but still, they were incredibly efficient with developing and releasing their games in the 5th generation, take a look at their release schedule on the PS1 and weep at just how far they´ve fallen, even taking into account the complexity of making games now compared to that period.
i'm sure after kingdom hearts is released, ffviir will show up again

If i remember correctly, they will add all 5 parts of FFVII into this remake. That is why it is so big

All 5 Parts of FFVII? You mean the spin offs that didn't matter to the main story as they were added later and take away from the original plot/ending anyway. Does anyone want to play Dirge again really?
Hmm, pie.
FF7R is this gen's FF Versus XIII, Square is now expecting to do this for a specific FF game every gen.
With the amount of delay I really hope Crisis Core remake will be in the works, or at least an HD remaster please.
