Damn XBO had a horrible year

It's a standard year for it.

2014-7.9m

2015-8.6m

2016-8.4m

2017-7.8m

2018-7.0m with 2 weeks to go, will end around last years numbers.

Better than 2017 though.

Good work for The PS4, a console 5 years old with a price tag of $299 and no december deals.

Next week should be a massive one.

The PS4 numbers sales must be probably higher than that.

I would say the opposite, insiders are saying Switch is looking to do roughly twice as much as PS4 in US but these numbers are only showing it doing like 33% more.

I really expect PS4 to get sizable downward adjustments in the US for the last 2 weeks.

I really expect Switch to get sizable upward adjustments globally after the IR in 3 weeks.

Great showing for the Switch. It's so nice to see Nintendo back on top even if it is just for a month. In the Wii U days, so many people were saying that Nintendo was finished in the home console business and if it were any other company, they would be. The Switch has got to be one of the most impressive turnarounds for a console developer in gaming history.

Official: PS4 sells 91'6M lifetime, 5'6M during holiday season, Spiderman sold 9M, just annouced at CES....

Edit: That puts PS4 in 18M for 2018. I expected more sales from Spiderman to be honest....

Edit 2: LOL, Spiderman sales are until Nov 25, so no disappointed at all.

Well I made my guess on the mark early 2018.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

PS4 has been adjusted down in the US and in-turn the rest of North America for December 8 and 15.

New PS4 figures in the US:

Dec 8 - 228,520

Dec 15 - 236,620

New PS4 figures worldwide:

Dec 8 - 785,784

Dec 15 - 803,717

Now that looks closer to reality. Thank You!

And another 1mil+ for Switch!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Holy smokes, Switch > PS4 + Xbone hardware combined.

Nintendo may have pissed away Jan-Oct this year but their holiday performance is insane.
