Correct, same as P5 come to Switch case and exchange. We never know if we haven't seen it yet. And if it happens, i will start to worry about the censorship of SMTV

Reminder that Wii had zero MGS game despite Snake being in Brawl and the Wii being the most successful 7th gen console.
Persona is also present on 3DS already.
Persona 5 is also extremely well optimized on PS3, and a switch port would probably take as much effort.
I would love for more people to have a way to play Persona 5, and a Steam port would also be awesome, but chances that Persona 5 lands on Switch are really low.

Metal Gear was on Nintendo consoles before. The NES, the SNES, the GB and the GC all had one Metal Gear title, plus I think Sakurai admited that he added Snake as a personal favour to Kojima. Joker, on the other hand, was one of the pics chosen by Nintendo themselves, not Sakurai. That has a completely different meaning.

The only 2 MGS games on these consoles are remakes.
I don't know how Nintendo picks characters for Smash, as I don't care much about fighting games, but again, Joker is already on a Nintendo console. There are tons of characters in Smash and they are not all teasers for future releases.

I doubt that the port of Persona 5 to Switch would take much effort.

Fun Fact: Snake would have actually been in the Gamecube release for smash if development was not too far in at that point.
That aside, I do feel RPGs make good homes on portable devices since grinding can be done anywhere but personally I've played through Persona 5 more than enough times

I´m.... not sure if Persona 5 will ever be launched for the Switch... specially considering that a new Shin Megami Tensei game is already in development for the platform.
I actually thought that the inclusion of Joker in Smash came as a reference from his inclusion in Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, which is exclusive to the Nintendo 3ds and has yet to be launched in the West.
