Youtube F'd up 2018 big-time for making it harder for smaller channels to become partners.

Not very surprising. I didn't watch the actual rewind, but I think these two videos summarise it pretty well:

They've clearly lost touch with their users and/or reality.

i only remember liking Rewind 2012, and then 2013 was just kind of bland. after that they kept going downhill. but this year was a whole new level of awful. it was 8 whole minutes long, it was way too preachy in its message of "youtubers are influencers! look at all the people we helped! women are empowered! we helped suicide victims!" along with every other SJW statement known to man. not the mention there was literally a scene where they were doing fortnite danced in the suicide forest. i can only hope that the immense backlash this year will lead to them lead them to kill off Rewind

They didn't even feature any famous YouTubers. Besides the likes of Ninja, who is more of a Twitch streamer than a Youtuber.

You could be right in saying "its always bad" if you only watched the ones after 2015..
