Still no true system seller.
Looks like they pushed Switch in 2017 2hard.

So are you actually trolling with all the replies to the replies you've gotten or na?

Because let me just say something that should have been stated by everyone arguing against you in the first place which would have dismantled this viewpoint in like two sentences: It doesn't even matter if you include lower sales of spin-offs as a "decline" in franchise sales. That is irrelevant to whether or not mainline games are system sellers, and on this front mainline Animal Crossing and Pokemon are system sellers.

I dont think the word justify is in a good use here, but let it be. And I dont think 2-3 guys are everyone.  I prefer to operate on the all accesible info. Sure, your way has it own ups and downs, but imo my way is better.

Im sure as hell than Sony took LL's numbers into consideration, as well Nin goes with the above games.

Which one thinks better, it will  be determined.

But literally no one compares spinoff and mainline games in that way(or so I thought before this conversation). Spinoff almost never have the same appeal as a mainline game. Comparing Amiibo festival to a normal animal crossing game is a crime, they are similar at all.

Also LL comparing to main Uncharted game is very bad example when we comparing to Amiibo Festival with real Animal Crossing, Uncharted LL is still big and serious core game just with different characters even if its smaller scope than Uncharted 4 for instance, while Amiibo Festival is just a board game in Animal Crossing world, it doesnt play at all like Animal Crossing game.

Comparing Amiibo Festival with real Animal Crossing games is like comparing Mario Party with Mario Odyssey, just even worse, because Super Mario Party is well known series, Amiibo based Animal Crossing board game is not.

No my friend, it matters. Lost Legacy is the next entry in Uncharted series, Animal Crossing City Folk on Wii is another entry in AC series and etc.

I will make it easier for ya

May I ask why u get hooked to this Amibo Festival when I am talking all the time about the whole series ?

AC City Folk sold 4.3 mil on Wii, AC HHB or something sold 3.32 on 3DS. GameCube game sold 2m+.

You are looking only at the one side of the medal, the pretty one. Hard to understand?

Because you are one that brought Amiibo Festival in comparison with real Animal Crossing games, not me.

AC City Folk did sold 4.3m but New Leaf that was released after that game in 2012. on 3DS sold 12m and that was last main AC game (also AC DS and AC 3DS sales proofs those games are more popular on handheld platforms). Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is spinoff game, not main game.

No, its hard to understand you comparing sales of spinoffs and main series and using that like proof that sales of series is in decline, while fact is that last main AC game sold most.

I didn't even say I disagreed, lmao. City Folk and Lost Legacy are both mainline entries, those aren't even entries people consider to be "spin-offs" in fact.

What does matter is that you agree that the most important games in each respective franchise sell consoles. Which is significantly different from saying that Happy Home Designer or Amiibo Festival (which by the way ARE spin-offs) decide the fate of the franchise.

I know well how New leaf sold ( it was repeated couple of times for nobody sake ) and take it in consideration. And I take other games as well.

Just like I know how Gran Tourismo was doin on PS2, but I dont call it 15mil seller anymore. So lets say I see GT6/Sport situation here - some mils, a good game, and thats it.

Thats all.

Still needs more RPGs damnit.

But the last AC game sold 10 million+
