It seemed that a lot of people thought that those Switch U.S unit sales of 8.2 million up to November 26th, that Nintendo announced a week ago, were wrong/disappointing, because it would mean that Switch sold about 900K units during November.

So it would be interesting to know how low November NPD Switch unit sales people would consider disappointing?

Considering Switch is going to be the only one up YOY of the three (presumably) , everything north 800K should be a success for Switch. But yes, considering this was Pokemon Let's Go month launch, if it sells below 1M most people will consider it disappointing anyway. For my part, if Switch ends selling 1'0-1'1M like it seems is going to sell according to that infamous PR, i will consider that number a success, anything beyond that would be "overachieving territory".

Ya pretty much this. I predicted 1-1.1 million, and basically anything with 10% of that is fine. 

I would consider anything lower than 1M a dissapointment, considering we had a tentpole nintendo title and an official discount on the Switch for the first time for BF (correct me on this).

It wasn't actual a discount as much as it was value added. The price was the same but they added Mario Kart 8 in as bundle. 

Facebook at $179.99 and it sold like 150 switches!

Also the free Switch that came with a purchase of $1200 in a jewlery store!
