Extra hint time.

#6 - This game showed that no one is empty inside... even if here, they needed to be.
Emptiness itself is a very important theme. With a different choice of words, it would make the title very obvious.

Hollow Knight?

I'm really way behind in this , the next 10 positions:

#45 - Ratchet & Clank: Up your Arsenal

What I like the most about this game: The gameplay, the big variety of weapons to use, the variety of levels, the funny moments.

#44 - Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

What I like the most about this game: The party members (I love that Peach and Bowser are part of Mario's team), the funny moments, the simple but effective story, the sense of adventure.

#43 - Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon

What I like the most about this game: The level design of the mansions, the variety of mansions, the puzzles, the atmosphere.

#42 - Tales of Graces f

What I like the most about this game: The battle system, which is one of my favorites in any A-RPG; the interactions between the characters, the boss fights, the gameplay sub-systems such as the titles system (where you level-up titles to get new artes/abilities) or the weapons dualizing.

#41 - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

What I like the most about this game: The overworld design, the exploration/adventure feeling, the fast pace of the game, the soundtrack.

#40 - Tales of Symphonia

What I like the most about this game: The cast of characters and their interactions, the dungeons (which are actually mostly good, unlike most JRPGs), the plot, the soundtrack. I think this is the game that has dropped the most positions in my list through the years, it was in the top 10 back in 2013.

#39 - The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

What I like the most about this game: The unique setting compared to other Zeldas, the story, the atmosphere, the overworld, the music, dat ending...

#38 - ICO

What I like the most about this game: The ending (it made me shed tears ), the level design (I love how everything is interconnected), the puzzles, the atmosphere, the soundtrack.

#37 - Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening

What I like the most about this game: The combat, the different Styles of battling you can use; the boss battles, especially the last one; the atmosphere, Dante's personality and his bare chest.

#36 - Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy

What I like the most about this game: The freedom of exploration, the good variety of levels, the level design. mission design is overall good.

#6: The quintessential tycoon game. And yes the second one is better than the first one.

#4: (1) The sun illuminating the home of the gods is just an illusion. (2) Will you perpetuate the cycle of the gods, or let the age of dark take over? (3) The game that every difficult game that is now released is now compared to, whether it fits or not e.g "Dead Cells is the [name of my #4] of Metroidvanias"
#3: (1) A space combat sim, set 32 years after the events of the first game and tells about the return of the alien race that almost destroyed humanity in the first game. (2) Developed by Volition before they became known for the Saints Row and Red Faction games. (3) Released in 1999 to critical acclaim, but poor sales, leaving the story on a cliffhanger that will likely never be resolved.

4.  Dark Souls

Roller Coaster Tycoon

Yes!

The second one in fact. I’d say my most ever played game. Got to be somewhere up to like 10,000 hours by now.

The game is on my list too.  Although it has been a while.  I remember the second one being better, but I can't remember what the differences were between the first and second game.

Not that many, it looks basically the same and the basics of the gameplay are the same. The differences are in the tweaking of things; for example theming is way better because in the second game you have a whole bunch of building blocks to build walls and roofs whereas in the original you couldn’t really build buildings.

I'll try to do the in-depth thing for my top 10...

#10 Pokémon Soulsilver

Same place as last year

Pokémon Soulsilver is a great remake of an already fantastic game (I haven't played Gold or Silver, but I assume they were a lot of fun). It's a mainline Pokémon game, so of course it's going to end up high on my list. What sets this game slightly above gen 4 and gen 5 is hard to tell, it just has a better flow and more interesting gameplay. Also, you get a whole new region to explore after you beat champion! That's such great extra, it's by far the most extensive post-game of any Pokémon title.
I also played the Pokéathlon for dozens of hours. It was just so much fun. I never saved the game after playing it though, because a friend once told me that you wouldn't be allowed in the Pokémon League anymore if your playtime was too long.

Oh, right, #9 hasn't been guessed yet :/

#9
- Gets a new campaign next year
- Nostalgia
- Not a Nintendo game, but it is available on the 3 most recent Nintendo consoles
- He's in Smash, but not as a playable character

#4
- This Gameboy game seems like it's just a remake of a classic at first, but after these first 4 stages it gives you 97 more levels.
