censorship is bad 100% of the time. put a 18+ rating and give out any warning desired, but it's never ok to censor art of any type

So does this apply to non-lewd games too? If so, wouldn't that screw over a lot of Japanese devs?

That really sucks for PS fans that are into those games. Pretty much Sony is pushing them away. I don't know why though, who does it benefit?

when i played on consoles i generally preferred playstations but thank god i evolved all the way up to pc

if you people care about having sexual content in your games you should start boycotting sony products and send them a message

The worst thing is, the games they've been censoring are already censored. For instance Senran Kagura games, they've been censored for years, nipples and crotches are covered by flashes of light, but that wasn't good enough for Sony, they additionally forced the removal of a mini-game that allows you to interact with the girls. Recently Sony forced this monstrosity of a censoring job to happen:

The woman wasn't even nude, she was wearing a normal bathing suit that isn't even all that skimpy, and as you can see Sony forced ridiculously huge light beams to cover up the swimsuit.
