That's ignoring the fact that the racing genre has shrunk over the course over the last decade, and now is a pretty niche genre, especially in NA. Forza does much better in Europe than it does here. 

NA is more like ~60% of the Xbox's Sales.

ps4 domination, and switch losing momentum, xbox is just bad.

Sony did say that they expect Spiderman to be one of the games to help them reach 100 million.
Also, this is probably one of the worst underestimations I have seen for a single 30 day time period.
That Chartz found a way to overtrack Xbox in the same time period is fascinating.

I never said they should skip NA. I said the racing genre has declined as a whole, and that's facts. Franchises like Need for Speed, Gran Turismo, and Forza Motorsport don't pull in numbers like they used to. Franchises like Midnight Club and Burnout have dissapeared off the face of this earth. Studios such as Sony Liverpool, Evolution, and Bizarre Creations have shut down. The game was never going to do gangbusters.

Now please stop trying to frame the game as a failure. It comes out every year, does similar numbers every year, so I dont know why a sudden increase is expected all the sudden.

yea, so? it's still losing momentum, and reports are october is looking very weak for hardware sales based on insider info.

But it's for ALL hardware, not just Switch. You're just as biased as ever... 

isn't switch suppose to do 20 million this year? and most people predicted it would destroy ps4 sales this year, not sure how ps4, and xbox factor into this, as sony has lower estimates for ps4 then nintendo does for switch, and is outselling switch by a nice margin so far, plus sony strongest market isn't NA like it is for nintendo.
