Heh, I think most of us were thinking that the PS4 sales were underwhelming on the weekly charts. Turns out it was because PS4 was severly undertracked the whole time.



curl-6 bet me that PS5 + X|S sales would reach 56m before year end 2023 and he was right.

its Highly likely that the PS4 also takes October.
Nintendo Switch is going to have its work cut out for it in november+december, if it wants to catch up to the PS4.

I was about to say Pokemon... was sure that was releasing end of this month... Yeah PS4 should take next month, Super Mario Party ain't going to stop that.

Holy shit that's an impressive number for PS4. All thanks to Spiderman.

Xbox had a 8 month streak of being up yoy, and now that got broken too (just barely).

I expect PS4 to take October without breaking a sweat, because of the COD/RDR marketing deal. Super Mario Party and Forza Horizon 4 will do well, but not nearly enough to deal any real damage to PS4. Xbox had battlefield marketing, but now that got delayed too.



Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Those PS4 numbers are damn impressive. 165k units apart from the Switch, 250k units apart from the Xbox One X.

If Spider-Man did all of that, would be interesting to see what the PS4 RDR2 bundle does this month.

4days of Forza (its the 4th forza for the xbox one?) + Shadow of the Tomb Raider marketing did nothing for the Xbox this month.

You mean 1 day of forza?  Only a small fraction of players buy the ultimate edition. Still, Forza has never been that big of a seller in the US, so I dont know why you’re expecting it to be.

Impressive sales for PS4, Spiderman moved ton of consoles.
Switch is solid, XB1 is OK.

Anybody know what were last years October numbers?
