Last edited by Oneeee-Chan!!! - on 22 September 2018Wow, I was planning on getting the Xbox version, but I might have to reconsider if this holds true in the final version
I wonder what the load times on the pro will be like, I also run on an SSD so that should speed it up even more.
That has always been my annoyances when Super Nintendo became Playstation and honestly I felt like VA/AMVs weren't worth the total sacrifice. It made things like Chrono trigger essentially boring. Given we had bigger worlds which was worth the sacrifice.
I might do the crazy thing and get all three versions, since this is one of my favorite games ever, but I will most likely playing the switch version.

You need to look at the time stamps again.
Switch battle starts at 34secounds into it, and its loaded by 37secounds = 3sec.
playstation battle starts at 5m57s into it, and its loaded by 6m01s = 4sec.
*edit: Lmao I cant count, 37 - 34 = 3sec.
It does appear the Switch is about 1sec faster in loading, from those two instances.
However Im not sure thats the same area, ect. Which count effect results, so its not apples to apples compairison.
37 - 34 is 3. Just saying. But yeah, hilarious thread that I have come to expect from a certain fan base.
Someone needs to check their eyes/bias! lol it's the same time for both, but belive whatever suits you i guess.

Your right I miss counted.
So it looks like its 3sec for the Switch and 4sec for the PS4.
But this isnt apples to apples comparison, in differnt area's ect that could effect things.
Even if its like this across the entire game, a 1sec differnce is something you can live with.
Its still surpriseing though, usually its the Switch that loads much slower than the PS4/Xb1 in games.
I guess it comes down to how much effort devs wanna put into it.
Any information about the frame rate on switch and ps4? 60 fps would be nice in this game.
