Bandai Namco announced a fourth major expansion for Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet called “Dissonance of the Nexus” during its Sword Art Online Game 5th Anniversary stage event at Tokyo Game Show 2018. It is a story set after the main scenario featuring Sachi.

Additionally, Bandai Namco announced that both Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization and Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet are coming to Switch. The latter is the Complete Edition announced for existing platforms.
