Amazing sales. Huge number and managed to slightly beat GoW. It will be interesting to see how much it manages to sell over the holiday. I imagine if the legs continue to be as strong as they are then this will do amazing numbers in the next few months. Maybe reach 7 -9 million by the time the holidays end

Oh I imagine it'll outpace God of War easily, simply for the fact that it has a much wider appeal... although I'm expecting both games to be within 10m by the end of the year anyway, it's crazy how these exclusives have been selling this gen!

I agree. Having 2 games reaching 10M+ in the same year is an unprecendented success for Sony. Only Nitendo, EA or Ubisoft are capable of doing this.

Yeah, sales wise Sony 1st parties have certainly come a long way since PS1 and PS2 days where Gran Turismo was pretty lonely on top.

Uncharted 4, Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War, and Spider-Man are all guaranteed 10 mill sellers at this point on PS4 alone.

Probably close to 3.5m - 3.6m if you where to include those bundled versions too (which again is kinda a insane amount for 3days of sales).

Yeah Im expecting a small hardware boost from spiderman.
I could imagine that world wide, there was like 300k bundles of spiderman sold.

I'd guess 3.5m including the bundle. Fooking insane. Second week will be huge too. Insomniac started on playstation with Spyro and now they're killing it on ps4 with spiderman.
