Not surprised, PUBG is losing the war by not being on the console while others get to build their user numbers.
But if MS paid for Dev has it been 1 year already? (assuming it was a 1 year exclusive?)
I wonder whether they can release the same game as it is now on Xbox one or they start the development cycle over. It's really crazy how they develop for different platforms. I think the company and game really grew to fast for their own good
Stories unfolded with my home made rap songs. Feel free to listen here with lyrics: https://youtu.be/vyT9PbK5_T0
I think it is safe to assume that the game has been in development for PS4 for a while, or they might have outsourced it
Finally
But with Fortnite taking over completely and COD's battle royale Blackout launching in under a month, this will sell a fraction of what it could've done if it released simultaneously with the XB1 version. I hope they got A LOT of money from Microsoft.

PUBG launched on XB1 via Xbox Game Preview December 12, 2017. So yeah, the 1 year timed exclusivity deal will expire this December.

Ah ok, thanks for the info. That makes sense then.
Too little, too late. Fortnite, H1Z1, CoD Blackout, and BF1 BR have all already made this game irrelevant. Bluehole spent too much time crying and trying to sue others over a genre they don’t even own, instead of developing and optimizing their game. Doesn’t help that they promised no MT’s during early access, and almost immediately went back on that and added pay to win MT’s. That’s why even with the XB1 playerbase added, they’ve been dropping in concurrent players. They’re currently at less than a million, from the over the 2 million they were once bragging about. Not releasing on PS4 at the same time as XB1 was a grave mistake.

I dont think its too late, it will still sell a good couple million just because the game it is... but as better and more interesting products come along (or are already out) the product will become more problematic for the team, especially if they continue to develop it at the speed they have... and with more platforms comes more problems.
I remember DayZ that product should have been the size of these products, but the product was so badly handled.
