I wouldn't consider a "mini" console expensive when it's cheaper than 2 modern controllers, 2 years of online play or one and a half full price game.

Its just a physical emulator with some roms. Probably 10 bucks to manufacture at the most.

I hope it includes Legend of Dragoon.

At the expensive of which title though. It's hard to pick 15 other titles without missing out popular ones. I can see LoD and Tony Hawks missing out.

You can't even build a scientific calculator with BASIC language support for 10 bucks. Even if the power is "cheap", there are still costs you can't cut off. And it's not some chinese bootleg console, people are expecting a good build quality, a glitchy (even mini) console would be terrible press for Sony.

There are also marketing, research, distribution and publishers' royalties costs and accessories to account for. Manufacturing cost isn't everything. It's extremely cheap.
