Everybody knows PlayStation (more people knows Sony).playstation is a real worldwide brand.when I first played a PlayStation I didn't even know that it's a Japanese brand but after looking at console library it was clear that PlayStation is first and foremost a Japanese console.all the Japanese games it has is just unmatched.they really made Japanese game mainstream.
