Animal Crossing is much more popular on handheld devices, on 3DS we had huge increase popularity of IP, its sold same number like it sold on DS despite much smaller install base, on Switch we will probably have more incrase of popularity of IP, and on Switch generally and specially Nintendo games are selling very good and much better than they did on past Nintendo platforms (including 3DS).

With all that on mind I think that Animal Crossing will have problem passing 15m+.

Including digital numbers I think it is reachable.

With how well it does in Japan, as well as Japanese switch numbers, yeah I can see that being possible.

It just depends. City Folk they dropped the ball and it wasn't that gun to me. New Leafs whole mayor system was addicting, and there are tons of ways they could expand on that. If they add enough new features, I could see it happening, otherwise I think 10 mil is it's max. But I hope your right!

15m? 1 of your least bold predictions. I think it will reach that number fairly easily, as long as there is enough new content.

They have experimented quite a lot with AC this generation, if they add all of the mechanics into AC Switch, it could really be a huge hit, probably even rivalling Pokemon.
