I decided that what Nintendo is doing with its online decisions is wrong. And it's harmful for us the consumers. That's why I initiated this petition. Not for Nintendo. For you. I want you to help yourselfs and everyone with a Nintendo Switch to take back what have always been ours. In the petition I explain with more detail why I'm asking you to NOT PAY for the Nintendo Switch Online System on September 18th.

if it was more than just $20 a year, yeah. though they are showing some pretty trashy anti-consumerism by deleting cloud saves if your sub collapses.

I know this will probably won't work at all... but I believe I have to try. If we are together on this, we can change this situation. We just need to believe it's possible

But in all serious, I was always going to pay for it for just the online anyways. It's just too big of a component in gaming this day and age, even if I used Xbox One or PS4 I'd cough up the $60 no questions asked just for the online access alone. A video game system without online play just isn't imaginable to me, GBA is the only console I've ever owned without it after all.

BTW, if I don't answer in the next ours in this thread, is not because I don't want to. I'll answer everybody when I can xD

If that's what you think, I'm ok with it. But... don't you think that it would be better if it was free like it has been since the DS came out? Don't you think that this is something we have always had for free and now they are taking it away from us? Don't you think that if we stand up and hold on without online on Switch, even if it's just by a short period of time... we could make things like they were before?

I repeat: if you don't agree with this, I won't insist on you. But if you think I'm even just a little bit right... then you should consider making something.

I think this plan lacks ambition. Why would you set the signature goal at 100? Why not go for 10000? That would really show them!

Two friends do not understand it either. It was free, many months! And now it costs a lot of money, why? Nintendo has not developed as much high development costs as other developers for her games (like Rockstar Games, Sony, Naughty Dog ect). And they have so much money in the company. So I dont understand that. And the online service is really not good - in comparison with PlayStation / Xbox. That's what the big pages say. Now it's in the hands of the fans.

In the past, a boycott has brought a lot - as with the xboxone, with the "second-hand" games. With a little luck, nintendo delete the online costs in a few weeks / 3-4 months. This is my opinion. Then it's free again - that would be fair and I would like it. Hope the best - that would be great for everyone, i think :)
