To be fair, Brawl sold on Wii, a console with mostly a casual audience that included seniors. The Switch, however, is a rising core gaming console aimed and marketed towards young adults, and kids to some extent. That is the demographic that is very familiar with Smash Bros. Plus, as the tag line goes, everyone’s here. An all time crossover roster just got better and there’s more to come.

OK, a TBone-prediction. I think it is bold, but that was true for earlier predictions of him. So I say I wait and see. Personally I think Smash can easily break 15M. Maybe it can reach to 20M. 25M seems so much.

To be fair two new 3D Zelda games sold together around 10m on install base of 100m, and now we have Zelda BotW hiting 8.5m on install base of current 17.8m, in short big, strong and good games are selling great on Switch.

I think that Smash Bros Ultimate will easily be best selling Smash Bros game, so 15m+ easily LT.

This is the boldest of your bold predictions! Never say never but (imo) it will max out at around 20m. Smash has always been a more "hardcore" game than most of Nintendo's franchises so it may limit the ceiling a little.
