Yea he also predicted 40% marketshare for switch in NPD for 2018. he's on the switch hype train real bad.

Hes probably not going to be that far off, a 35/35/30 split sounds pretty seasonable.

This is a likely prediction. 3 first party titles in the last quarter, two being an easy 10 million seller and one having the potential for 5 million. Couple that with the Switch being the newest console, and I can easily see it happening.

I agree.  History shows that the first Mario Party on a new platform sells fantastically and Super Mario Party looks (so far) to be the best Mario Party in a long time with its 'back to basics' approach.  The Switch is also going to be a great selling point for it because it's going to allow Super Mario Party to be the first game in the series to provide portable local multiplay without the need of multiple devices which means that it's going to be the #1 party game choice for many Switch owners.  I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up selling 8m+.

It’s possible, but I kindof doubt it.

0331 Happiness is a belt-fed weapon

Indeed, this is the Mario Party game that fans have wanted for close to a decade. (Ditch the car and go back to the classic formula.) And it looks to be a very fun and good Mario Party game. I see this game selling great with both kids (aka their parents) and old school Nintendo fans. I think this game has the potential to become the best selling Mario Party game ever.

it doesn't sound like much but 40% marketshare is a huge difference then 35%.

I doubt it, the Wii and DS releases were huge, i think like ~8 million. I think it could be the best selling non-Wii/DS release though.

I don't know. PS4 has been ahead all year, basically. It's possible that Pokemon and Smash could put the Switch ahead overall, I guess, but with RDR:2 coming and there likely to be another Black Friday price cut for PS4, I'm definitely leaning PS4 for the win this year myself.

Not really, you're acting like he said it will undoubtedly reach 40% marketshare when he said its something he could see happening.

This is your problem that you never learn from, just like last year when you kept harassing Benji for saying Nov NPD COULD be close and PS4 won by a big amount.

You should really learn what the words could and might mean and not ignore it when people say them.
