Forums - Nintendo Discussion - EA is Annoying

Won't quote the original post, but imho EA is indeed acting insane.

Fifa 18 may not have been the best port (yet I still consider it to be a fine game on the Switch), but apparently it still got good
sales - especially with the latest sales and the Worldcup download.

But quite frankly... do they actually expect any Switch owner to buy Fifa 19??? It's basically the same game - yeah, mayhaps with a bit of
upgraded graphics but that's it. Granted... this strategy might work on the PS4, where a significant percentage of the user-base are
immature kids or adolescents who never worked and never earned a penny on their own in their whole life, and who get their income
subsidized mostly my mom and dad...

So yes... basically, I expect Fifa 19 on the Switch to absolutely bomb. On the other hand, releasing a Madden on the Switch this year
would have scored quite well. Maybe even more than Fifa 18, since the user-base of the Switch has increased dramatically since
Fifa 18's release and since American Football has become quite popular in Europe and Asia too.

2K are doing the same shit too. NBA2K18 was great. Their attempt at WWE2K18 was abysmal.
So why are they trying to sell NBA2K19 now. Same game. Nothing new. Nobody will buy this.
Had they instead bowed their heads and said: "Sorry for giving you an absolutely piece of shit
last year, but this time we'll do our best to provide you with the perfect portable wrestling experience",
and follow up with a game running as good as NBA2K18, then they could be basically owning the golden
goose that shits money.  Switch owners obviously are mostly well off folks in their late twenties and
older who got a lot of money they can use on their *own* - but companies like EA don't seem to
understand this... Or perhaps they understand this way too well, and instead opt for the easier route
and just market and sell their products to the kids and the imbeciles out there who don't care where
their money goes and thus spend half their income on lootboxes.

Your own post rant doesn't seem to be very mature. So obviously you can't be one of these supersmart Switch owners.

Perhaps you should look up the sales of FIFA on PS4 and Xbox One. They have increased year over year every year since the console came out. Last year PS4 and Xbox One FIFA games combined to sell over 15 million copies. For an annual sports title. In one year.

Meanwhile NBA 2K consistently sells over 2 million of Xbox One,and over 3 million on PS4. Every single year.

So umm... perhaps your should take a few minutes to educate yourself.
