Forums - NSFW Discussion - Gaming under the influence

For those of you who drink/take drugs, have you done much gaming while high/drunk/etc, and what effects does it have on the experience for you?

I can tell you my experience as someone who never drinks or does drugs... it's annoying as hell.

"Hey bro sorry about my friend he's totally drunk now, but he can still play good as Rein"

"Mate.... ress my mate.... he's awake again now I think"

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Drugs and gaming just don't feel right.

Better aim at Duck Hunt - and more fun, too when slightly drunk

I've never done it myself, but I laughed my ass off seeing someone trying to play Wii Sports Club bowling drunk after we switched the settings to automatic (as we thought it'd be easier for him than manual) and then with him proceeding to constantly fuck up and not be able to throw the ball until he gave up.

My brother is the same; after a few drinks his aim actually seems to improve when playing lightgun type games like Dangerous Hunts 2011 on the Wii. I reckon it's cos it helps him to relax and get into the zone without overthinking it.

not me, but i have a friend who likes to get high before we play Fortnite together. oddly enough we end up doing better when hes high

Every fucking night bro. Including right now.

Indeed a drink or 2 is a performance enhancing drug for shooters. The first guy to get disqualified for doping in the olympics used alcohol for his shooting competition.

I have a hard time understanding complex instructions whilst inebriated, but my game is still on point. When I'm playing a game where I don't need to formulate plans with others, I'm fine.
