Let us not forget Burnley... out in the Europa qualifiers.

Seems City are facing a possible ban from Europe.

Why?

A financial fairplay case has been opened against them, apparently they're accused of misleading a prior investigation by overstating how big a sponsorship deal was it's been found out that some of the money shown in records came from the club owner's own pocket and not sponsors.

The Premier league has been the league with the most billionaires investing in it for quite some time.

Yeah and?

Lack of financial fair play is an easy method to do better than clubs who play by the rules. Hence why four English finalists in the European cups should have people take a moment and think critically about it, instead of blindly cheering on English superiority.

Highlight where I said the aren't any billionaires or money oh wait I didn't try not reading between lines, if you're salty about an EPL sweep too bad cry to your agony aunt over it I don't care billionaires or not doesn't change my point.

So, Loftus-Cheek is injured after playing a friendly in the US, so he's potentially out of the Europa League final. As a non-story as this is, who schedules a friendly at this time of the year?

Hmm, pie.

By the time the final rolls around, it'll have been two and a half weeks since the last match. This is probably a better and more intense way to maintain match fitness and sharpness than normal training, as well as offering the opportunity to test out/tweak tactics, formations etc.

Maybe you are right, in terms of fitness and all that but 3 days after the end of the season? Teams even complain mid season about their busy schedule. :P

Hmm, pie.

Good thing I couldn't watch the game because of song writing session with our band. Disgraceful stuff, and what a letdown this season was.

Chelsea is just the better team today. 3rd place and Europa cup? That's a great season for them.

Hmm, pie.
