How many million sellers will the Switch have in its second year?

1-2 6 6.90%

3-4 6 6.90%

5-6. 10 11.49%

7-8 10 11.49%

9-10 15 17.24%

More than 10 million sellers. 40 45.98%

Total:87

Well, after this thread, I'm going to continue to follow the rate of million sellers the Switch has. How many million sellers will the Switch have in its second year? I'm also going to take into account games released last year that manage to reach the million this year.

I do hope we get numbers for digital sales, though. I'm sure there is at least one digital-only game million seller already

EDIT: To clarify, I'm counting the amount of games crossing the million from March 3rd 2018 to March 3rd 2019. If they released in 2017 and they are now crossing the line they count.

In total or how many more games will cross the million barrier?

Yeah there's a lot of questions here, these as well as:

Is it only games launched in its second year? Or do games crossing the million mark that were launched earlier count?

For just games that launched in its second year, it should be 7
Kirby, Octopath, Mario Tennis, Fire Emblem, Smash, Yoshi, and the mysterious Holiday Game(assuming it is not already on the list). Any third party games already announced so far doesn't have a chance IMO.

What about Tropical Freeze? As for third party.... maybe Crash.... and perhaps Lego Incredibles could do it, Lego City got to 0.5m and that's an old port on a lower installbase.

Captain Toad also has a chance I think.

I forgot about Tropical freeze, that will be an easy million seller. Crash will sell ok, but being a late port will hurt it I think. I don't really have anything to say Lego Incredibles. I purposely left out Captain Toad, but now I remember that it is only $40 so it should hit a million as well

No 3rd party games can reach 1 million on the switch which is sad considering hundreds of ps4 3rd party games have sold over 1 million.

Mario+Rabbids, Bomberman, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and one other have done it. When  Switch starts to get more new, big games day and date, that is when more third parties will hit 1 million consistently.

Can you please link to the source of Puyo Puyo Tetris reaching the million? I'd love to confirm it and know when it exactly did it.
