My guess is that they're focussing on revenue this December. That is probably also why they're "only" expecting 17.5 mill shipped for FY2018.

That's not a deal. That's the normal price. That's the 6th Christmas of the console. And it's $50 more expensive than last year...Switch has a deal whether you like it or not. Nintendo felt they needed it to sell their large shipment (like for BF and CM). It makes their main game, Smash, an enticing $35 purchase.

It's looking like the chart will be quite a bit more accurate for the month of December. Of course we'll have to wait and see. Awesome thread symbios.
