This poll is old so its not that surprising to see God of War winning. I don't really feel the game looks that great though.

Shenmue 1 and 2 is the new king this gen.

One thing I didn't like in RDR2 is the colors, they all seem a little weak, like if they had a white veil over them. Like if it was faded. It does good on giving a Western movie from old time and I'm liking the setting, but graphically it falls very low compared to Detroit, SM, GoW. So for Consoles the prize goes to Detroit on graphic, and GoW overall presentation.

Good taste :) "Detroit: Become Human" is one of the most underrated games of the year, I find. And especially the graphics, details, characters and world are extremely nice to look at.

while I agree somewhat with you. RDR2's world does look amazing, but the characters look pretty bad, specially faces. I would give it a pass and say its an open world but spiderman would destroy that exception. Honestly I thought the characters looked like garbage in every GTA so Im not shocked that little improvement was made in this department. But the world still top notch. 

God Of War still best overall. Sony for the win again this year.

Is this the right place to complain about the shitty colors in RDR2 (they have mastered the game in SDR but say it's HDR, so when the TV process it, all colors are pale) or should I create a thread?

So now that I've played Red Dead Redemption 2, I think it has to be one of the most graphically impressive games of this generation. The only thing I can think of that could be better is that Sony's first party studios are still a decent amount better at faces, but the open world is just so detailed. Animals never looked so real!

So true., many strong and beautiful games this year. I think Detroit Become Human is underestimated.

The gameplay is still unkown for death starding and ghost of tsushima. A fun game will sway me even for graphics comparisons.
