I don't like how I have to go in to a game's page to see the regional sales breakdown, I liked it better when it was listed during the search (JP/US/EU/Other). Made it much easier to compare in-franchise.

The problem is, there are only so many columns you can list, before it gets ridiculously wide. There have already been complaints that the listing is too wide...

...perhaps I can make more customization options for the page and allow users to pick & choose what columns to list.

If that were possible, that would be amazing. I'm guessing it might be a lot of work, though. I'm not that knowledgeable about coding sites and stuff. But if you think it's viable to do, I definitely recommend it.

Instead of the need for so many annoying ads, why not become an affiliate of websites that gamers may buy games from, to earn extra money? Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop, etc.

Because they cant make that call.Actually anything related to ads is outside of Machina, Talonman or Trucks reach. The only one that could do sometjing about this is Brett(ioi), the site owner. And his interest on VGC is lower than zero.So we gotta live with it.

And as Talonman already said, this is no place to complain about ads. This is about the database, so stay on topic

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

https://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=241866&page=1

When I try to add the developer to a game I'm submitting, it comes up a number instead of the developer. So instead of "Capcom" being the developer, its "90". Is this a newly added thing or...?

Would it be possible to swap Regional sales for the 3 columns for the scores (critic score, vgcharts score, user score) - I think they'd fit i the individual gamepage better - like in the summary or so

Web design feedback/suggestion here.

Just a nitpick, but it seems that the header text color is tied to Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft's color of choice in the css which makes sense. But my eyes don't appreciate reading red text on black gradients for Switch games. I'd appreciate a white header text or maybe a lighter red. PS and XB aren't as jarring because of their hue and brightness are more similar to the gray than the red is. Red text is something of a taboo in post 90's web design, but if it can't be helped, eh, it can't be helped.

No joke - we probably spent 3-4 weeks, debating the freakin' colors!!! LOL!!!

Colors and images are out of my comfort realm, so I'll pose it back to the people who enjoy playing around this this stuff. Once they all settle on a color, I'll implement whatever it is...

lol, I bet. I've worked on a few websites in my day and it can get heated with the design. It's no biggie, though. I hope it turns out for the best!

OK guys, I will start compiling the suggestions here. If you want your suggestion heard, post it in here! DO NOT PM or post on the walls of the coders, it makes things more difficult as the suggestions become scattered over the place instead of in one spot.

I guess we are just about to get several complains about MS numbers...
Any chance of we getting those numbers from AMD to estimate the total for X1 based on PS4?

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

You'll need to clear your browser cache, in order to fix this. I had to make an adjustment yesterday for something else, and it required changes to the javascript file involved for this. Please let me know ASAP whether this fixes your problem, or not...

I don't know what that means. You mean my browsing history on my PC?
