Hey, human made climate change, I remember you. Spurge got the Free Man Badge (two years without moderation) and later stopped logging on, now for half a year or so. VG$ is the most important currency in the world, more valuable than elirium-115. You can buy badges from it. In the prediction league you can bet on the sales of platforms in said VG$ and once the numbers are in the ones closest to the real result get paid out most. You can configure your notifications, but I've forgotten how (maybe I didn't forget but don't find it anymore with the recent site upgrade). I remember you being a Xbox fan? The mods pledged to give Xbox fandom a more safe space to flourish.

my greatest games: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023

You get no moderation for two years. You got the badge for not being modded for a month.

I have two things. A bug and a wish.

Bug: If I input cyrillic letters (probably all non-ascii unicode), it works in the post, but gets scrambled in a quote. One recent example (and the original post that was quoted). That worked fine last year.

Let's try it out: What happens if we quote öäüß Хорошо lỗi 오류 ขอให้เป็นวันที่ดี

And a wish: in bet threads the graphcial representation is based on the number of votes, similar to polls. But it would be more interesting to base them on the amount betted.

Might want to renew the SSL certificate so I don't get an error every time I visit the site. Obviously I can choose to ignore the error and everything works just fine, but it's not a great experience. A classic issue for sure!

What URL / domain are you getting that on?  I'm not seeing any certificate error.  I just verified the date of 5 different domain/subdomains that contain vgchartz.com names that are good (and another 10 non production ones).  Perhaps you are using a deprecated domain alias?

Hmm, that's interesting. I'm still getting it on the main page:

My PC's time also seems to be correct, so it's not that either... It's a Let's Encrypt certificate which says it's valid from Sep 20 until Dec 19 (i.e. when I reported the problem). I can provide more details about the certificate if necessary, but I'm getting the same issue in both Chrome and Firefox, so there's definitely something wrong with the certificate.

tl;dr: Reboot (cold restart, not just sleep) your machine and that should flush all caches and fix it.

Longer answer: Can you tell what IP your machine is connecting to?  (You can try "netstat -an" at a shell/command prompt in most OS right after loading a page).  It should show 69.41.13.62.  If it doesn't, but shows 65.111.186.138 (the old server that is proxying connections to the new server) then that is the problem.  If you haven't restarted your browser in a few weeks, it might be holding onto the old ip.

Try ping www.vgchartz.com and see which IP it is using.  If the old IP, try flushing your dns cache (different depending on OS).  Most browsers cache DNS outside of the OS, so you can't assume the browser is using the same IP and ping if it's been running awhile.
