Suggestion - Add an "Open Source" option to the Game DB developers field. There are a lot of great open source games I'd like to add like Station 13, Simutrans, OpenTTD, and many more.
A game I added to the DB still cannot be added to my collection. I can add it to my wishlist, or to tracked, but adding it to my collection is not an option. Please forgive my ignorance in advance if I'm missing something that would enable it to be added to my collection.

The game I submitted was Lara Croft Go, for 3 platforms and it was approved for all 3. It's already been released. Again, apologies if I missed something.

All 3 games dont have a releasedate added for any region at all. So if you pick the ps4 version and for japan add 1.1.2019 as fictive release date you should be able to add it to your collwction

Since the weekly software charts are gone, I am always wondering which games arrived in certain weeks. Especially in weeks with noteworthy hardware jumps, I always asking myself, which titles were released in this specific week.
Maybe it is possible to put a Top 10 Software releases box under the hardware chart with the same calendar date as the hardware chart. This software info box should be updated simultaneously with the hardware chart. The games don't have to be necessarily ranked, since I think we don't have accurate numbers at that time when the hardware charts are being updated. So it's probably a subjective info, but nevertheless helpful in my opinion to get an impression which games maybe helped to push some hardware. Even 5 games would be enough, if it costs too much time to get 10 games figured out.
Perhaps you can also make some kind of a slider/tab in that box so you can switch between weekly upcoming and past software releases.

I would love this! If not possible, how about box that is linked to the gamedatabase with the option to search for game releases specific weeks, a bit like metacritic does with upcoming games, but also the option to search a year or even 5 years back.
