I actually think that this holiday season might have been underestimated, guess we're gonna see for sure by the end of the year when Nintendo releases their quarterly numbers.

The switch is an absolute monster.

It’s doing all that without its first revision/price cut.

I can’t imagine what the holidays sales will look like when they finally launch a revision of the console + a real Pokémon game.

Yes, 2019 and 2020 have the potential to be huge. I expect one of them to reach 22+ million sales. Plus the switch still being full price gives it a great chance of a long lifecycle. Even more since it's the only system Nintendo will have, if we think they milked the 3DS, I'm sure they will do similar things to keep the switch userbase alive.
