Retail is re-opening here for the first time in months starting from tomorrow, so it looks like I'll be able to start buying Switch games physically again instead of digitally as I had to with Outer Worlds.

I haven't picked up a physical Switch release since Luigi's Mansion 3 this time last year.

That's cool. Do you already have some specific games in mind?

Well I definitely plan on picking up Age of Calamity next month and Immortals Fenyx Rising in December, and Sniper Elite 4 if it's a good port.

I'll have Age of Calamity as well. Really looking forward to it! I think I should check out Fenyx a bit because I know nothing about that yet.

Immortals looks like kind of a hybrid of Assassin's Creed Odyssey through the lens of Breath of the Wild. You get shrines, powers, upgradeable health and stamina, all the building blocks of BOTW, but with a Greek mythological setting and a tongue-in-cheek tone. Whether its actually good remains to be seen but they've shared a lot of gameplay and I think it looks promising.

Gods & Monsters might be a game to buy down the line, after reading the reviews and when it gets the standard 50% Ubisoft discount.

Hyrule Warriors will be one of my Xmas gifts, most likely digital so I can share it with my Nintendo Online family.

The fact that they got the game to run like it did at launch was already pretty impressive.

Haven't had a chance to play it yet sadly, but I'm sure one of these days I'll get around to it

Looks pretty decent, honestly. I've never been interested in Monster Hunter and still am not for the most part, but this entry looks way better than any of the other iterations that were on Wii/WiiU/3DS.
