My favorite parts of the Link's Awakening Remake trailer:

Look at how insanely detailed the texture work on the castle floor looks! And the water in-motion looks soooo beautiful in the second screenshot!

(My screenshots don't do these areas justice, keep in mind Youtube compression + being still images)

I kind of want an RTS that uses this art style.

Yeah, that would be gorgeous! I love the art style. Zelda, Kirby, and Yoshi are constantly showing new ways of making games beautiful.

So far there are 7 Switch games on my intend-to-buy list for 2019, the same number as I bought from 2017 and up from just one in 2018. And it's only February.

Having said that, none of them look like they will be in the same god-tier as BOTW or Odyssey, so I'm not sure whether I'd say this year will top 2017 just yet. Still, a hell of a good lineup so far and there's still time for plenty more to be announced by year's end. (Come on Doom Eternal)

More Ultimate tech, Macro Cancelling.

The director of Bayonetta 2 has left PlatinumGames. I can already see people panicking.

It's sadly not the case but not the reactions you think the Bayo community unfortunately have some clowns with in it and some are more making a sigh a of relief because of a rift between B1 and B2 fans in how both games play. For anyone not deep into action games and the depth of Bayonetta it's widely considered the combat in the first game is more intricate but the second game is structured a lot better to playthrough so as you imagine some hardcore B1 fans are some what glad as it now confirms Kamiya is heading the third game.

I prefer the first game but still wished him well as ultimately the second game was still great but man some of these clowns are straight up vile.

I just hope Bayonetta 3 is still on track; after 14 months since its reveal and absolutely nothing being shown it's starting to feel a lot like the whole Prime 4 situation where things went pear-shaped.

Don't scare me like that.

It will be at E3, don't worry. Prime 4 was announced almost exactly 6 months before Bayonetta 3, and it's only been 1 month since the cancellation and recreating of Metroid Prime 4. So give Bayonetta 3 another 5 months at least.
